Walking the Line
LandScope has recently invested in a Leica Pegasus: Backpack system which acquires accurately geo-referenced LiDAR and photographic data both indoors and outdoors as the surveyor simply walks around.
The system offers some exceptionally powerful solutions especially in more constrained areas with limited vehicle access.
In particular, the technology augments our vehicle mounted systems in the rapid and accurate collection of GIS (Geographical Information System) data.
