Real-Time Monitoring in the Heart of London
LandScope Engineering were appointed to undertake real-time monitoring during construction of a new building development in the heart of London.
The construction programme requires works in close proximity to surrounding buildings, a number of which are Grade II listed. The geotechnical investigation identified that there was a potential for the surrounding buildings to experience a small degree of displacement. Leading to a requirement for our client to furnish home owners and stakeholders with readily available online monitoring data and reporting. This was achieved through Trimble 4D Control which was setup to send alert communications to site operatives in real-time when triggers were exceeded.
A detailed case study of the project can be found here.
