“Manxman Coming”
LandScope is proud to be providing hydrographic services to the King Edward VIII Pier upgrade at Douglas Harbour, Isle of Man.
In preparation for delivery of new larger ferry fleet, the pier is undergoing considerable upgrades to ensure adequate scour protection associated with vessel manoeuvres.
Our coded survey vessel “Polecat II” equipped with multibeam sonar, sidescan sonar and high-resolution mobile LiDAR systems, has been mobilised for the project.
Making the most of our Manx mission, we will also be providing nearshore and beach profiling works in Castletown and some routine harbour bathymetric surveys.
