Chipmonk Targets Reservoir Mapping
Our small, lightweight survey platform “Chipmonk” has recently been busy with bathymetric and geophysical surveys of reservoirs and other inland water bodies.
Readily fitted with a single beam echo-sounder for bathymetric survey, the platform may be augmented with an extreme shallow water sub-bottom profiling capability to determine silt volumes and other sub-bed depositional horizons. Integrating a variable power and frequency acoustic approach with our range of GPR systems, “Chipmonk” is best qualified to provide the most reliable sub-bed geophysical information in all water depths and environments.
