A BUSY YEAR FOR THE MARINE TEAM
The LandScope marine survey team have been put through their paces this year, with projects North, South, East and West. From coastal projects at nuclear naval bases, to busy ports, large complex flowing rivers, small inlets, weirs, dams, canals, reservoirs … you name it, we’ve probably been there … in bright sunshine to squalls, and even in the frosty cold snap last week.
Our Marine Operations Supervisor has had to hit the ground running, providing invaluable experience in this rapidly growing business area and using all opportunities to refine or improve safety systems.
We will start 2023 with an in-house marine training week focusing upon first aid, life-saving equipment, man overboard drilling and more. The SHEQ Coordinator will be working with the marine team to review and supplement our policies, procedures, checklists and risk assessments. We are excited and pleased to have such a positive way start to the new year.
The office will close on Friday 23rd at Noon and we will reopen on Tuesday 3rd January.
